is there an FAQ on the "missing link" ?

as the topic states, is there an FAQ on the missing link? if there is can someone direct me to it, if not can someone tell me more about it?

what do you want to know...it keeps the map sensor from seeing boost

is it bought, made, stolen from another vehicle, fabricated on mars?
what exactly does it do during low to no boost applications? how does it affect the computer? etc.

i dont have a link but during vacuum it does nothing, as soon as there is boost it seals off the map so it doesnt read the boost and freak out
