tested manifold ,found broken manifold bolt!!!!!!
 

hey guys. well i test fitted my manifold and i have some questions. well when i was taking off my headers i noticed that one of my exhaust manifold bolts is broken. how do i get it out? now i have some exhaust smoke coming from my hood, is this bad for my car? can i still drive with the leak? one more thing. do i really need my condeser fan? turbo is too big to have fan in.

you only need the condesor fan if you are using your ac.

otherwise you can pitch that ----.

It depends how much of the bolt is actually left sticking out of the block. You could try just grabbing it with a pair of channel locks and doing it he-man style, or you could take a dremel and put a notch in the end of the bolt and try to get it out with a standard (flat) screwdriver, or something similar to that.

If there isn't much of it sticking out still you may have to go to a machine shop and have them drill it out and retap it with a larger bolt...that or you could try doing it yourself if you have the proper tools.
