I put teflon tape on mine, and if it fucks something up oh well, I don't expect the motor to see 2005.

You can use teflon tape on everything, I do. just remember to keep it a thread from the end so pieces wont fall off and go through the turbo or whatever.

Don't ever use teflon on -AN fittings...it causes more problems than you think it solves...

they also have teflon paste. it works better than the tape when it comes to fine threads. 98ctr

ps: its about $2.50 at the hardware store. 98ctr

I hate teflon tape, cuz my t-stat housing leakin, I had to flush my coolant out cuz the tape got into it. Just use teflon tape on shower heads, you'll be safe there... ;)

Re:teflon tape on water fittings?

on D16Y8, it has some goofy valve, we i had to replace my valve, and the new one (which I ordered from honda) leaked when i put it in, so I bought a new vlave after returning the old one, same thing, so I bought teflon tape and it stopped leaking for liek 3 months, then started again, adn the tape go into the coolant...so I took it into honda, and they fixed it for me, had to pay, but not a lot
