Default tc a stock dx

i have a 93 honda civic dx hatch and ive been reading that you can produce good power on stock internals. now everyone has basically lead me here because you guys know your ----. so can someone help me out..... basically b4 for i do my full engine swap i wanted to turbo the stock one so i could blow on my boys zx2 becaus he says he hasnt lost to a civic yet and i think he should. his car is pushin in the 130 area stock and hes got some bolt ons and ---- so what i wanna do is get some used parts from the junkyard that would put me in the 160-170 area and from what ive heard it can be done. but i dont know how and id like to do this my self if it isnt too hard (plus i dont really have the money to pay someone else)so basicaly what im askin for is a step by step from someone that has done this of similar and a sugested parts list

Parts List (No prices because they vary):
Civic Std. exhaust manifold
Turbo (this can be a 14b from a 88-91 DSM or any other turbo you can find)
Intercooler (ones off a turbo probe work the best IMO)
Adapter Plate (talk to BMC or make one from 3/4in steel, you need about a 4.5in x 4.5in piece)
Charge Piping (Order mandrel bends from JCWhitney or gettho fab somthin out of pipes from turbo probes, DSMs and such)
Oil Lines (Talk to StealthMode on here)
Downpipe (use the stock O2 housing if your running a 14b/RHb5)
Fuel Management (Chip your ecu and run Uberdata www.pgmfi.org will help you out)

And your done

the key to good power and reliability is GOOD fuel managment...if you plan on running fmu forget it do what he said and chip or you can go with the afc hack you would need injectors 450's or whatever you want but you may not use your stock injectors as they are rated to 240cc....

Chipping the ECU yourself, will cost you about $175, if you want to buy the chip burner and have the ability to rechip it and change your settings, like a standalone management thingy (wow so technical), but if you can find someone to burn it for you and send you the parts, it will probably be like $10 with a base map for your car.

Turbo charging the civic is not hard, just a bunch of parts that go together. Read about it here, there's tons of info for the DIY person. Great thing about this is that you can buy the parts little by little and then when you have everything install it, usually take a couple of days, and you're done. A HMT kit could run you anywhere from $600 to $1000 for junkyard parts that will work really good. Now that all depends on your hook ups and such, could be less or a little more, but definately better than a brand name kit.

Keep reading and you will find all the info you need.

Look at my car, and copy for a cheap kit. I'm redoing my Ic piping now though b/c I'm tired of chasing down boost leaks.

Figure out what its going to cost you paper, then save up twice that amount, then buy the parts.

BTW the the hell is in Daytona on June19th ?

You need to really do some research, there is more then enough on here to know everything you needs to know without hands on experience.

Why are you swapping motors? Just mini-me that stock bitch, then boost it (cheaper) then swap motors after you spin the bearings. I will be selling a d16z6 soon, let me know.

Go look thru and figure out EVERYTHING you need, biggest part will be fuel managment, consider chipping your own ECU maybe. Look thru some of my posts in the past 2 weeks, I have hooked up noob's with lots of information on what direction to go. Do your research, figure out which direction you want to go, make the grocery list. After you've gotten that far if you need help, let us know.
