i don't think i would disconnect the water cooling on your center section. this might cause it to over heat due to the fact that there is only open space in there without the coolant removing heat.

as for an adapter, i can hook you up. just send me a gasket if it is something i haven't made already. click my sig at the bottom of this post to see my fs thread. ;)

we need pics!

I have a t3 to hf adapter plate from weirRacing he does really nice work. the t3 adapter plate fits the tb03 fine. I threw a pic of the t3 adapter plate sitting on the tb03 so you'll have an idea on what it will look like.

You dont have to run the water cooling section if you dont want to, and no you dont even need to plug the holes up with anything. Why? because nothing will come out ;)

If you plan on keeping this turbo for any amount of long time, then go ahead and run the coolant lines, but majority of the time we never run them.

As far as what turbo is a TB03, thats quite vauge since there are about 40 different tb03's. Post some pics so we know whatcha got.

Re:TBO3 or T3 ????

that turbo will be perfect for for you a6, as far as flange, the offset of the inlet flange is still the same as a standard t3 flange, it just has a goofy inlet, I'm not sure if one of aarons adapters will seal up correctly.

Crazy Russian said "I have a t3 to hf adapter plate from weirRacing he does really nice work."

So, I guess it will be fine,
