Tapping the coolant
I was looking around discount auto today to find something to tap into my coolant lines to run them in a loop to and from my TB. All I found was "Vacu-Tite" universal double sided Tap. Would the plastic hold? Or do I need some sort of copper tap?

Re:Tapping the coolant
Why not just buy longer lines and do away with all of the stupid connectors? It's probably cheaper, too.

Re:Tapping the coolant
Yeah thinking of that. How long should I need? I got 7ft of 5/16. Dont think that will be enough.

Re:Tapping the coolant
Maybe. That might be a bit shy. That would work for at least one of them. :-\

Re:Tapping the coolant
Plastic is fine, im using like 3 3 way splitters. They are doing great so far and more durable then you think. As long as there not right next to the turbo or manifold, your fine.

Re:Tapping the coolant
from what I hear...if a turbo is oil and water cooled you don't even have to use the water cooling side. just run the oil lines. I think this is what abaz did on the most recent turbo setup he made right?

Re:Tapping the coolant
turbos get really hot its alot better if you run the coolant lines. I ran mine off the intake manifold, (theres a coolant hookup there) to the turbo then from the turbo to the line that was originally hooked up to the intake manifold easier than pie. I should get some pics up of my setup.
