Taking AC fan out... CRX Si

I was wondering if i take the AC fan out to put the turbo in. Will the AC still work?

A/C will work but the car will overheat.

No it won't. The AC fan has nothing to do with the motor. It cools the condenser. Your AC won't work worth a ---- unless you are moving. Whne you come to a stop the air will be nasty and hot. The motor will not be affected.

Kool my bad. On my car it seemed that there was a problem with the fan switch so at times the car overheated. When I put the A/c on it cooled down due to the fact that both fans were on. I thought with the extra load on the engine with the A/c on it needed the extra fan to mantain it's cool.

if this is a space issue, try & relocate the fan to the front of the condenser, get a slimmer fan if needed.

dude wtf that makes no sense. if you have overheating problems fix that first, new thermo, make sure your coolent is at the correct level etc.

if you are keeping a/c then keep the ac fan if you want the a/c to work. the a/c fan and whole ac system will have nothing to do with your engine overheating.

sorry to be a little of topic:
but how tough is it to remove the a/c system? i was thinking of doing this cuz i never use it anyway and it will make a lot of room. I read that you have to have a trained technician depressurize the system first, can i just do this myself?

thanks

i was running my hatch without the condensor fan. after driving home from school in traffic, the compressor purged out the refrigerant because it was too hot..
