Re: ta0302 airesearch turbo
ta0302 comes from either: Peugeot, sofim or iveco engine.
the tag on the backplate should read 465318 followed by a suffix from 0002 to 0010. Supply this code and I'll tell you everything about the turbo. be carefull as most of these ta0302 have a .36 A/r turbine, which is kinda small for any performance application. |
I know this is old as yesterday buy i have looked every were to no result but i figured maybe someone here would know...
This TA0302 does anyone know what it flows in cfm its a 465918-2 if that helps im trying to compare it to a T25 from a Nissan SR20DET or a T25 from a DSM to understand if its bigger or smaller since this T25 i do know but not the TA0302 and I cant find any good info on it |
If you have the turbo in hand pull off the compressor housing and measure the wheel to figure out the trim of the wheel, don't bother with anything below 50trim for a performance application with a T3. As long as the turbine housing is at least .48ar you can always upgrade the compressor later. The compressor housing is also easily upgradable within the T3 family (read junk yard). From what I`ve seen online in a quick search it`s a Mercedes app turbo 50trim, this ought to get you 225hp on the ground with lots of mid range torque.
