t4 install help and parts list?

https://www.homemadeturbo.com/tech_p...ech/index.html

If you scroll down to the t4, the center section of it has a place for something to hook into it. Is that the oil line? How do I mount an exhaust coming off of it? Besides the pipe work, intake and exhaust, what else hooks up to a turbo?

Sorry for the list of questions, I bought the thing and the person I got it from was going to give me a parts list and how to, and didn't get one.

Going into a Jeep Cherokee with the 4.0 HO. But I have a performance cam, with matching head parts. Over sized pistons. A crank and rods from a older 4.2 jeep, over sized TB (by 13 mm), from 19# injectors to 30# injectors performance head gasket. Looking at about 270-280 HP stroking it out to a 4.7-4.8L. My first turbo project, and lost. :(

Any insight or help would be great.

Thanks guys!

It has an oil in and an oil out. Some have water in/out also, but that one does not.

Depending on what turbo you have and what came with it you can just take it to an exhaust shop to connect the pipes. The turbo should have a flange that you can either weld to or bolt to.

What about my vacume lines. The motor is no longer sucking, it is getting feed. What do I do about that? And how do I control my boost to not over exceed what I need? :repair:

Re:t4 install help and parts list?

It will be between a 4.7 and 4.8 stroker with a 1200-4000 RPM cam. The only thing stock is the truck. Making a Rock Crawling/daily driving Jeep Cherokee I-6 HO grunt. They have a ton of low end TQ stock, and the stroker will give me about 80-90 HP and 100-110 TQ over the stock 190 HP 223 TQ. If I can get between 80-120 HP/TQ out of turbo, it will give me almost 400 HP 2X stock, at a low RPM, and cary it out to almost redline.

Larger Valves, cam, TB (13 mm larger TB) Been working on it for a good 10 months and have changed crank 3X, pistons, 2nd pair, second cam, second set of headers. It has been hell, and a project that is 1 of a kind.
