t3 vs t3/t4
 

Okay, so by the end of my 8 month work term (ending dec 2007) i should (hopefully) have more than enough to get a turbo that i've just been dying for.

I have a question, though (many more are very likely to follow). I cant decide if i'd rather go for a T3 or T3/T4. I know a T3 will spool faster but wont be capable of producing as much power. I'm not looking to make 300+hp so i think the T3 will fit my taste. However the T3/t4 seems to be extremely popular among Hondas. just curious what you guys think. O0

sorry i forgot to mention that. its a d16Y7 in a 96 sedan.

if youre talking about a stock bottom end go with the t3, itll spool faster while keeping your power goals. youre not going to make any more than 200 to maybe 240 max on a stock bottom end and a .48/.60 should make those gaols easily. the t3/t4 whould benefit a built motor better where the goals whould be in the realm of 300 to 400 hp.

yah, 200 is my goal. I don't think I'll get a t3/t4 unless i get a B18C or B18C1 which at this point isn't very likely. but never say never!
