T3 vs. IHI turbo.
 
i was looking at the manifold off a GTX(jap spec 323) and its for an IHIVJ20 turbo. well iwas looking at it, is an IHI have the same flange as a T3?

so if its square and not the only ihi with a round one, it should be the same?

The IHI and the Garrett on the ford t-bird have the same flnag.

I know that the rhb5 has that triangular one.I dont know of anny others though :-\

the ones on us spec mazda's have a flange thats different than the t3, so im betting the jdm one does too :-\

The GTX VJ-20 uses a square flange, looks just like the probe flange. So, nope it's not the same as the T3.

The IHI RHB5 can also have the square flange with the circular inlet. These are the probe turbos. The IHI's in subarus and such have the triangular flange. Other than the flange the turbos are basically identical.
