Re:T3 turbo question

you can swap from a .63 exhaust to a .48 exhaust just by swapping the exhaust housing to a .48 i believe. As for T3 .60 compressor, thatll support 300hp, a T4 .60 compressor supports 450hp or so... big difference

Re:T3 turbo question

if you're just swapping the exhaust housing you don't need to rebalance

Re:T3 turbo question

its pretty easy but you gotta be careful taking the old housing off... you cant damage the turbine wheel, and the bolts in the centersection are pita to take off... youre gonna need to be careful you dont break them off

Re:T3 turbo question

get some good penetrating lube and let it soak in the bolts for a day or two. those exhaust side bolts are tough and you don't want to break any. if you have a torch, that would help when removing em.
good luck.
