T3 Turbo Inlet Transition Pipe

Has anybody ever seen or knows of anyone that could make this for me in mild steel?

http://www.titanbending.com/forsale/rndtorect1.jpg

I found this on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Stain...temZ8018368458). However, it's made out of stainless. The guy says he'll make anything but I can't get a hold of him for the life of me.

The one pictured is a 2" pipe. It would be awesome if I could get this in mild steel and flared out to 2.5".

Any ideas? Thanks for the help in advance.

Re: T3 Turbo Inlet Transition Pipe

I've never welded dissimilar metals together. I've always been told by professional welders not to do so because of different thermal expansion properties. Over time, the welds will crack due to this.

Plus I'd prefer to keep it all the same due to consistancy. This system will be shown off. I don't want it to look like it was patched together.

I have mig welded stainless to mild several times and never had issues.

Why are you making the manifold in mild then?
Stainless has much better thermal retention properties.
