use a .48/.60 60 trim garrett t3 at like 8-10 psi, tuned properly you wont be dissapointed, it will rip....

No, seeing a dude afflitated with a popular local tuning shop putting out 14.0X in a EK SI with some big super 60 looking turbo. That's crappy. I saw him run a 14.8X then a 14.0X. That car should be mid 13s easy. That just makes me sad. :'( JP |
Re: is a t3 turbo good for a b16a?
i think a .48/.60 would be fine for a b16a. everyone is always thinking that the turbo might not be able to put out much at 8200 though.. or higher if you have internals..
i ran a greddy kit for a sohc civic that was modified for a b series, that, at 5/6 psi, full exhaust, and a fmu on a '91 LS motor & stock ecu, and my crappy 2" abs plastic chargepiping ran 14.6 @ 94.5mph on no name street tires while learning how to launch still.. currently, i have a b16a, and im installing my .42/.60 T3 custom setup on.. so i'll let you know how a smaller one works out ;) |
