I have a b18b integra and am planning to turbo my car with a t3 from a saab, .42/.48. It will be intercooled and plan to boost around 7lbs. I would like to aim for 200whp and low 14's in the 1/4mi. Is this turbo too small for me? It will be intercooled and run a log style mani with 450's injectors and chipped ecu.

I'm going to be running the same turbo on a d16a6. I think with only 7 psi of boost, you're going to fall short of your goal, but I don't know what other mods you have either. If I was boosting an LS, I wouldn't think anything of 10-12 psi and that could easily get you over the 200 whp mark. The rods are beefy and can take up to around 350 hp before they snap. But, I'm only talking theory and from what I've seen others doing. Wait for someone that has actually done one to chime in.

i asked the same question cuz i got the same motor.... every1 said a t3 super 60 at the minimum, but better to go with a t3/t4.

I have to disagree.. it really all depends what u like, how u like ur boost and what the car is going to be used for. That size t3 will spool up rather fast and go nicely with the low end power the ls already makes. You shouldnt strive for huge top end power with that motor so u might as well get ur boost in early... its also nice to blow off while idling.. and if u have traction u can really jump off the line

I'm just afraid the boost is going to die off up top, at 6-7000rpm when boosting at 7-8lbs.
Anyone else?

Yeah your car runs out of power around six and i hope you arent revving it to 7 very often i have an ls and i was gonna use a .42 .48 before i sold it mine as well haul *** in the bottom end cuz it falls flat in the top end.
