T3/T04E A/R .50 .63 A/R Turbine.

Looks like a good price...

But is it just WAY too big for a D series?

Thanks.

its a chinese piece of ----

However, from a reputible manifacturer, that turbo would prolly be a bit big but would have a big kick. i have a 54 trim, boost comes in real hard but a bit late

ok, good info to know, I wondered how the price could be so comparable to used turbos...

From the "how to pick your turbo" post, my mathematical 'sk33lz' had me at about 500 CFM or so. So a medium T3 gets the job done. I am just not as familiar with the trims.

Thanks again.

look for turbos that either have "garrett" or "turbonetics" cast onto the housing. everything else is prolly a chinese POS.

i'm looking at that same exact turbo, except a 57 trim, for my H23, so it MIGHT be a bit big for a d-series.

Not the only way to tell, Chinese Crap is starting to cast that in too.

But on a side note, we are trying out an SSAutocrap T3/T04E on my buddies car and it hasn't given us a problem yet, just keep the oil pressure as low as possible otherwise you seal will go to ----.

No doubt, I guess the only way to be sure if you are gonna get serious about this bidness is to get a turbo from a known good distributor.. I just dont wanna put down the $$$ trying to keep it strictly lowballaz...

I just picked up a SAAB turbo from the HMT for sale posts, so I got what I need..

Thanks again for the info.

And this seller is a b*stard (sorry).

I bought a 3" core IC from him, bit i received a 30% percent smaller, 2.25" with bent core. Package was insured.
He never answered for my emails either, so i left him negative feedback. He replied to my negative feedback with negative feedback, where he told me to check auction first, it has 3" core. He wanted to persuade me of believing him, not to my eyes and my tape measure.
He has no idea what he is shipping and seems no idea what it is good for!

So, beware of turbocreations or whatever (he sells under other name as well on ebay).
