hey all do you think this is too small? from what i read earlier this would be a very good candidate for daily driving and once and a while at the track. its good for 275whp.

Re: t3 super 60 for b16a too small?
yeah the super 60 will work very well on the b16

That is a good turbo for ya.

Re: t3 super 60 for b16a too small?
what about a .60/.63 T3, are these pretty close to the the same thing. I got one for free and plan on boosting my B16 with it until I can afford to upgrade.

Keep it in the same thread I say. There are enough newbie new threads. :-\

Re: t3 super 60 for b16a too small?
60/63 has too large a turbine
a super 60 is 48/60 (i think) |
Re: t3 super 60 for b16a too small?
Super 60 is NOT a .48/.60. Go to the turbonetics website and find the Super 60. All of the turbos mentioned are 60 trim and NOT the SUPER 60.
Anyways the 60 trim turbo will work very well with the b16 and pull hard to redline. I think they are good up to 300 or so. |
Re: t3 super 60 for b16a too small?
ok thanks, what about a 60 trim t3 with a .48/.60 a/r? will that be a tad too small for the 1.6l? how much boost do you think i can run? everything is stock. 450cc, uberdata, 2.5" exhaust, 2.25 pipes
|
Re: t3 super 60 for b16a too small?
the 60 trim t3 is perfect for a 1.6l Hell it would probly be good on a lower hp 1.8l and still be ok up to.
yeah, i hate it when people refer to the .48/.60 60 trim t3 as a super 60. theres so many e-bay auctions that skyrocket because they say its a "super" 60 60 trim t3. Sean |
