T3 Manifold choices??

3 Attachment(s)
Hey everyone, newbie here,
I just picked up a small t3 turbo shown here:

Attachment 18442

Attachment 18443

Attachment 18444

I'm looking for a manifold that'll clear a/c and powersteering. Anyone have any ideas? HF manifolds, would they work? OR do i have to get a custom one from autoworks or something.

I was eyeballing it today, it sure looks like it'll be a tight fit with my d16y8, especially since i'm trying to keep a/c and p/s.
Thanks in advance

Man..i came for help and all you did was call names. I aint gonna bitch about it but forums are to help people. If you gave me the answer from the start, this kinda bullshit wouldnt be going on.

I still thank those who helped though

This is ------- HMT, not Hold-Your-Hand-To-Boost.com. You earn your goddamn respect.

a log should do the trick. whomever your buying from just let them know what your looking for, and i'm sure they'll make it so.

in my first post i gave you the answer you needed.
SEARCH HARDER
if you did that then you wouldn't have to ask what manifold you needed.
you could use any manifold that fits your head. all you will need is an adapter for the turbo flange.
can't wait to see what your next question is.

I aint asking another question. I'll ask somewhere else. Thanks for that straight out answer about the turbo flange though

You guys are assholes because if you searched you are probably going to find a bunch of conflicting BS answers from people who don't have a clue. Kind of like everyone's answer in this thread minus crx2fast.

Fitting that turbo with the internal WG is like trying to fit a T4 turbine in the engine bay and keeping AC. Good luck with that. It adds like 2-3". I'd suggest buying a CDM cast manifold, CDM wastegate, and throw the internal WG on ebay. That way you won't have any clearance issues.

Thanks man. And yeah, i decided to get a log and toss the internal wastegate. Thanks for the help, and your damn right about the conflicting answers when i search. And just when i ask a noob question to get the REAL answer, i get bashed.

Go look in the for sale sections of HMT, Turbo D16, Honda Tech etc. People will post if their manifolds are A/C compatible because it is a good selling point. This will give you are good idea of what you will be looking for.

You can go super simple log and mount the flange far to one side, I think that might be the easiest way to do it. Also be sure the manifold lets the turbo hang as close to straight down, this will help with the clearance in front.

Logs, you can get them in cast iron or stainless steel. Avoid mild steel at all costs. My personal preference is stainless steel dependent on the welding skills of the manufacturer.

On a side note. Grow a pair and ditch ------- A/C, seriously. Boost > A/C
