Default t3 low boost 1st gear

.60/.63 standard t3
I've changed the comrpessor housing from a Ford to a Nissan style, I'd think that wouldn't impact anything as long as they both share the same compressor wheel...

Anyway, I'm getting 6-7psi in 1st, 2nd 8psi, and reaching full 10-12 psi by 3rd... MBC is pretty crankied down...
Does this indicate that I'm not moving enough air on the hot side, need to clamp down to .48/.60?

Yes, both the z31 and thunderbird compressors will perform the same.
it's possible that your engine is not developping enough load in 1st and 2nd to hit it's full boost but a small exhaust leak at the wastegate can also cause such symptoms.
Yes, 0.48 a/r could definitely help reaching full boost in 1st and 2nd gear because it does spool up faster.

what size motor do you have? Low boost in first and second just helps traction

boost is dependent on load on the motor... when your spinning tire there isnt much load, hence less boost...
