Default Is this t3 any good?

I have a b18b with a snapped timing belt that i'm not using and some guy wants to trade me straight up for a t3 turbo off of a mercury? I don't know what size this t3 is, can you guys help me? is this a good deal for me? should i ask for a little cash from him? He says it has VERY little shaft play, and he's gonna meet me in person so i can check that out, but i was thinking about running about 10 psi max on my b20, more like 6-8 most of the time. would this work out alright? what are your thoughts?

from the looks of it its a 48/60 or 60/63, either are both nice turbos but not nice enough to trade straight accross for a b18. i would ask for at least the turbo and 150 cash on top.

It's looks to be a 60/63, 5 speed turbocoupe turbo. Looks to be in fine shape other than the snapped off bolts on the hot side. Be ready for the inside ones to do the same when you go to clock it.

Do you mean a Merkur That would be a fine turbo to use on that size motor.

i have the same turbo on a z6. lots of fun. should be even better on a b20 for daily driving. it spools a little late for a street driven d but not too bad

that looks like a t-bird/cougar turbo. I bought one for 50 bucks. they go on ebay for under 130 bucks pretty regularly. great turbo though. I would guess that it is slightly larger than what you need but would still work great.
