anyone know how well these turbos flow and how much psi they can support?is this a good turbo for a d16y8 running 16 psi?

 

also how soon can i reach full boost with this setup?is it a laggy turbo?

 

Its going to be laggy, but its a good choice for the brave people that try and run 15+psi on a stock D16a6/z6/y8, but I'm not knocking you, I have the same turbo for my D16Z6/A6 hybrid..

 

i would never try 15 psi on stock internals,thats just nuts

 

With 8.4/1 compression ? and huge IC... DSM 450s, fuel pump, and stock A6 head...

no wonder it lags with that big *** turbo on there...

 

I believe I've heard the max is 18 or 19 PSI. I have the same turbo for my project

i belive the t3 with .63 exhaust and .60 comp is from a svo thunderbird and im sure it can be found on other cars.
the turbo is not laggy, i run a t3t4 with the same a/r and its not really laggy just a little lag. the t3 60 is nice for a d-series since its small and spools up nice and will flow for over 200hp.
