t3(.63/.60) vs. t3/t4 ?
I've notice that the compressors on t3/t4's are smaller (like .50) than t3 (.63/.60) turbos? physically the t4 is larger but the ar numbers are less?
And is a t3/t4 with a .50 compressor (unsure of turbine), with a 50 trim any good for a b18b? I have a t3 .63/.60 now and I know a guy who wants to trade, but my t3 is brand new and his t3/t4 is older. Stan |

What exactly is your question?
I say try and sell your near new setup and pick up a used one and make a few bucks.. it's all in how u want it to perform. |

The t3/t4 will prolly spool bout as quick as the 60 but the t3/4 will have more high end power

Depends on how beat up the other guys T3/T4 is.
If it was used a lot I wouldn't trade |
Re:t3(.63/.60) vs. t3/t4 ?
Sorry, my question is: why do the t4 compressor housings have a lower a/r (.50) number than t3 compressor housings (.60) but are supposed to flow more? ???

You can search on google for how they measure the A/R ratio's.
They take the radius of the intake part of the compressor or so and devide it buy some other radius of the compressor etc etc....I don't remember it exactly anymore...I read it once |
