T3 60 Trim with .82 a/r
Anyone on here running a T3 60 Trim with .60 cold side with .82 a/r on a b18b1? if so, hows ur spool times and when does full boost kicks in with what psi? how much power can this turbo handle? The dude i brought it from said it was a .63a/r, but when i got the turbo, it came out to have a .82a/r, which sucks.

Re: T3 60 Trim with .82 a/r
do you know the spool times and full boost at what rpm? cause i don't want the .82 to be very laggy

Re: T3 60 Trim with .82 a/r
put it on then tell us... dont be scared :y

Re: T3 60 Trim with .82 a/r
lol thats true, but i am on a budget, so i don't want to waste my time getting a downpipe made and finds out that the turbo is too laggy and have to get another turbo and a new downpipe made ;D

Re: T3 60 Trim with .82 a/r
its gonna be a bit laggy, maybe full boost by 4.5 or 5k, i got a 2.o engine n i was gonna go with the .82 but im goin with the .63 to make sure i dont have lag, i hate lag lol but i kno the .82 is gonna be laggy

Re: T3 60 Trim with .82 a/r
yea, i hate lag too

Re: T3 60 Trim with .82 a/r
lag=HUGE top end. I was thinking of this very thing a couple of days ago, since i have a spare buick Grand National turbine... I rock a .63 on my 2.0 and love it, not very laggy but nice top end power.

Re: T3 60 Trim with .82 a/r
when i race i brake boost so lag is not an issue. driving around id rather not have to be in boost to go stoplight to stoplight. Lag isnt much of an issue, you can do different things to get around it plus you will have better gas mileage and more top end due to increased flow. as long as your hitting hard by 5K then your cool. IMO
