T3 .60 A/R on a B18B

hey guys...i am thinking of buying this turbo that was off of a ford merkur. it says .60 A/R on it. I guess that they were
used in the SVO's or something? I have an integra b18b (ls).
you guys think that this turbo would be nice? I mean...how long do you think it would take for that thing to spool. And i know this is probably a noob question but...with uberdata how many PSI do you think i can run out of a b18b (stock internals). Also would a 3inch dp be too big? because i really want a 3inch dp but i am thinking it is going to be too big. Thanks for your input

Re:T3 .60 A/R on a B18B

you can run about 25-30psi of boost on that turbo probably. I dunno if your engine will handle it though.

safely on a stock internal LS 10-12psi tuned for reliability issues. I'd tune it for 8psi and do that as a daily driver, then crank it to 10-12psi at the tracks. but its ur call

:D Well i have first hand experience on that turbo on a b18 with a 2 1/2 in dp it will spool about 3500 semed to do good but you def need good fuel management.Jeff an i did the setup on an integra with that exact turbo .

that turbo is fine, it's not as big as everyone thinks, and for the last time, uberdata and bigger injectors is all you need. just think of uberdata as the poor mans hondata, same capabilities, it's one of the best choices for engine management out there.

I have the same turbo on my b18b. I'm running 9 psi and it gets full boost around 4000 rpm running a log manifold.

he's a little girl, he was running 5 psi on it before, ----, i ran up to 15 psi on stock engine with no tuning :P

I'm running that very same turbo on a stock D16.

6PSI and it spools up around 3,500 RPM... I think. I don't remember... I haven't driven it in about a month but I like it... I think it's called traction control :'(

lol, are you ------- serious or delerious? dude, i've spent countless pm's to you trying to help you out and explain uberdata, and you're really thinking about an fmu? are you slow or soemthing? you don't really seem to grasp the concept.........

Re:T3 .60 A/R on a B18B

uberdata is going to be expensive...i dont know how to tune it and i would have bring it to a dyno and thats $250 for them to tune it. wanna sell me an ecu that will run with my setup

Re:T3 .60 A/R on a B18B

delerious, your a faggot and your poor grasp of reality makes me sad, you dont deserve a turbo.....

i think hanging yourself would be a bigger performance modification for you

^^^ I would have to agree with this. This may be hmt but someone is just handing you info on proper fuel management and you bitch slap him with a fmu ::)

Re:T3 .60 A/R on a B18B

seroiusly delirious, if you are going to run FMU, just come to my house. I'll install it for you for free.

I'll just take out ur motor and your turbo and put in the FMU in for you. Because essentially if you are running an FMU, your motor will go bye-bye and your turbo will go bye-bye. Why dont I just save you the trouble and just do it right now!!!

Look you want to stay away from an FMU. One of my buddies decided to use FMU before he realized the possibility on his LS and his car blew a ring within 1 month. Yea it saved him a headache initially because he didnt need to tune it, but then again he had to buy another LS motor for $800... Hm... Uberdata for $200 total or a new motor and a useless FMU.

Seriously dont be Delerious right now. It's like we are fawken handing you free info on a damn SILVER platter and you still dont take it. Can I just get me shotgun and shoot you between the eyes? (Sorry I'm being harsh, but I think we have enough blown motors from Abaz and Beau :P ;D J/K!)

go with that turbo and uber. even a base turbo map would run better than the fmu.

You ------- clown. Die and go to hell. Get Uberdata, 10x better than an FMU for about the same price. I still wonder if you are a joke made by someone on this board, because you just never seem to get it. If you go FMU, might as well say "----, maybe Uberdata?"

dude, i've told you a million times that i would sell you an ecu chipped with a basemap that will run your set up safely (100x's safer than an fmu), for practically the same price as an fmu.

i have also told you this. you wouldn't have to get tuning if you didn't want. i ran a basemap on my car WITH NO TUNING at all for 7 mos. and boosted up to 15 psi with it. i know even more now, so i can make even better basemaps. the decision is yours, but i'm not wasting any more time trying to explain it to you. if you want an fmu, go for it, but that's the dumbest thing i've ever heard.
