Default t3 60/48

someone wants to sell me there new t3 60/48 turbo with a external waste gate setup for 400 bucks. what would be the advantages and disadvantages of this turbo for my b18b1?

Yeah, seems kind of pricey but like ghettoturbo said, if it's a true "brand new" turbo, go for it. I ran the same size turbo with my first setup on a B18B and it ripped. Thats an awesome street turbo for that engine. Spools around 2900-3000 and full boost before 4000. It pulled great.

o and whats the thing with losing pressure at higher rpms? i was reading about johnys t3 super 60 in his ls losing about 5 pounds at about 5000rms?

i thought sc34 weren't ball bearing?

Don't know but I never had a problem. It certainly would have boosted more had my engine been built. Only reason I'm not using it anymore is because I cooked the oil seals :P
