t3 50 trim worthy for an h22 or b18b
im deciding which car to boost now, i dont know if a .42 t3 will be enough only looking for 250whp on either motor
tuning isnt an issue. so is it big enough for the h22 or even the b18b? id be running a max of 8 psi i guess normally 4 - 6 pounds |

a .42 t3 can have different trims from 35 to 50 trim but even the largest will be good for around 200 whp max.
for the h22: way too small. you could use two of them! On the B18, it will WORK but certainly not reliable because maxed out (stock boosted B18b's are good for more than 200WHP) |

too small for either. sell it and get another one.

With a stock exhaust, crappy IM, but 3" DP, I made 160whp with 6psi on a 50-trim with a 8:1 CR D16Z6. This turbo can do close to 270whp if you put it at 19-20psi (best efficiency at ~18psi), but it won't live all that long at that shaft speed.
If you use that typical .42/.48 50trim (stg1 exhaust) on a B18B, it will feel like a good NA V6, but get the gas milage of a 1.6L. >:D Otherwise its too small for busting some Camaro's balls. |
