Default t3 on a 3.0l dohc

i'm looking to do a budget diy turbo setup on my 93 stealth. right now i'm running a n/a 3.0 liter with 10-1 compression. i'm looking to get a little extra power. i was wondering if anyone had any recomendations on any setups that would work well. i was thinking about using stock 360cc injectors off of a twin turbo stealth along with a stock twin turbo fuel pump. i was thinking about using a T3 Turbo from an 88 Turbo coupe with AR.60 compressor Ar.63 exhaust. i'm not really sure how this will work out. but i don't want to be pushing too much boost because of the compression. but any help will be greatly appreciated.

It not a question of just too much boost with the T3, but also not enough flow. A single T3 is too small for a 3-Liter engine. You need a T4 turbo.

The T3 turbine will seriously backpressure your exhaust and most likely overheat and burn-up your exhaust valves.

Why not just buy the entire TT stock set-up ? manifolds, TD04-9B turbos, all charge pipes, down pipes, and I think even the oil pan will ALL bolt right up to a N/A stealth. You need to ask some questions on http://www.3si.org I sold my factory turbo ( that were ported ) for $320 shipped. and there was lots of people doing it..

but I should warn you, one of the guys the did it ran into DANgerous traction problems. He said it was kinda hard to drive sometimes b/c the combo of high compression and small turbos meant the car had boost almost "off-idle", and the 3/S does have a limited-slip from the facorty, so the car torque steers like crazy !!

The TD04-9bs are small, but 2 of them could out flow ONE T3 .60/.63 60-trim off a T-bird.
I'm going to run ONE T-bird turbo on my 1.6L SOHC honda, I serously doubt that the same T3 is going to keep up with a DoHc 3.0L 3/S that has better flowing heads than a supra from the factory..

NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, this car is going to cost you a lot of money to mod !!! Don't think your going to be able to do a getteo HMT set-up on it. Everything is expensive, and they are hard to work on ( -----, need not apply ). That's why I have a honda for cheap/fun/beater and a 3/S that is my big money 550hp beast.
