T3 or 14b
Ok I have been lurking the forum for a while, so I decided to join but anyways, I was wondering something. My buddy is telling me I should get a 14b turbo over a T3. Well I'm new to this ---- so I am asking you folks which one is better in your opinion? which one will net me more power at 7-8 psi? I have a 1.8l SOHC Mirage, if that makes any difference, making a whopping 110hp (about 89-91 whp) maybe less cuz I have a auto tranny. Im just about finished with m kit but can't decide on a turbo.

all depends on your driving style really, t3 in my opinon is good for mid level boost strong till redline but usualy doesn't create full boost till 3.5k+ 14b does starts spoolin around 2k from what i here but has horrible top end performance and really isn't good for high boost.

Without even reading your post I'm going to say T3. I would never use anything as small as a 14b. Unless you just like quick spool and less top end, which IMO sucks a fat one. After reading your post I haven't changed my mind 
And a T3 (any size) will make more power than a 14b at any boost level because it is moving more air.

yea I know about the 4g63 swap, this isnt my first mirage, this is how it works, (so no one can say get a 4g63). Ii have what they call a 5g (97-01) mirage my motor is oriented the same way an Evo 4-8 motor is. These are the only 4g63s that will work, without a ---- load of work. Now the 4g mirage (93-96) will accept the 4g63 from the eclipses and Evo 1-3. I have a friend that is doing it. As theses motors are oriented in the same way. The Evo swap for my car, 5g, will cost too much for me at the moment...i.e 5000 bones!..lol Thats why I just want to turbo my car. Then I would look into the 4g63 swap down the road, but thanks for the input. 
But back to the topic, so any T3 will net more power than the 14b...cool my plans for the car are to just make a nice daily driver for my wife...i.e No 4g63 for her..lmao thanks guys
