T28 setup help

OK... My mate Tony has just bought a HKS turbo upgrade for his Nissan JDM S15 Silvia. So should I buy his old turbo (BB, T28 A/R 60, no shaft play) and get a HKS manifold or something?

I don't want to be without air conditioning, what manifolds would be sweet? Does anyone know what the wastegate is set at on the stock S15 turbo? (I think its 7-8psi but not too sure).

Cheers,
Tim

BUY THAT MOTHER FUCKEN TURBO!!!

Those suckers are hard as hell to come buy and are great turbos. HKS makes great manifolds for them. Also if you cant find an HKS one I'm sure BMC would make you a flange for it.

Just make sure the price is good and the turbo in good condition still. I'd freaken buy it if it was my friend!

Does the HKS mani clear the A/C?

I have a B series, and the HKS manifold cleared A/C

Damn, I did a test fit this evening, and there's no way I'd get this turbo to fit without losing the A/C. I can't spin the cold side around enough because of the internal wastegate. Oh well, back to square one I guess.
