Default t25 turbo ON A Y7

i have a t25, 450cc and safc on stock a motor. but it want hold 8psi all the way to redline. it start to drop off at 55-6k and it lose all it power. is it to small or try to boost more?

the psi should hold to redline... if it doesn't you have a boost leak or the WG is opening too much in the uppper R's... the thing is.. the POWER will fall on its face at top end.. you need a bigger turbo or bigger ic piping or bigger DP

i think its holding but that when the turbo starts to die so it feels slow

what's your exhaust setup like? My old serup was so restrictive it was preventing me from getting full boost, or in your case, could prevent it from flowing enough in the high rpm's. Also check that charge piping for boost leaks.

Yeah bro that T25 is just plain small, mine falls on its face above 4500, its just not big enough, although you could fine tune your setup like rmoving your cat and all that good stuff its just not really worth it, get a bigger turbo.

I got a t25 on my y7 and it pull to about 5800 rpm and im only pushin about 7 psi plus the t25 are better for acceleration not top end

it might be the exhaust it still stock. it just at high rpm.

Yep..that turbo is just small...I started with one on my B16..you can imagine how that was....ZOOOM up to 5000 and SPLAT!! fall on yo face!!

exacly...t25's are ----. I don't know why people buy them in the first place when they can get a T3 on the same price range which gives wayy more top end power.
