t25 turbo setup

i have heard that a t25 is perfect for a d series sohc like mine is this true and what are the best components (What size charge pipes, bov, intercooler, waste gate) i want to run about 9-10 psi safely on stock internals plan on purchasing hondata FM also is this a good setup

Sounds like a good start to me. Any where between like 1.75 and 2.50" IC piping will work good. And for the wastegate and bov, it's all up to personal choice. Read up more in the forums, theres tons of other D series SOHC turbo setups you can learn more info from.

T25 is small, but it will do the job. Spool fast, but dies out.

Hondata would be perfect for fuel. Good choice. 9-10 psi should be easily and safely achieved.

Re:t25 turbo setup

thanx you guyz both of you now i know what I am going to get except the turbo dr. boost i think i remember reading that you have a d16 if the t25 is too small what is the biggest turbo unit i can buy and not compromise engine safety. want to do it right the first time don't want to upgrade the turbo later because it's too small also i have heard several BOV's on cars some just make the psssshh sound when releaseing pressure other's make a high pitched whistle as the pressure drops it starts high then fades out i think there was one on the green eclipse in the fast and the furious, is it a greddy, hks etc i think it might be the hks because of the way it's built but don't know

Re:t25 turbo setup

id go with the 14g, that way you dont have to turn the boost up as high to get the same power as the t-25 at 9-10psi. also it spools up pretty quick and has great top end. :)

ok 14g and hybrid ok which one like t3/to4b which ones want adaquate spool time and good top end 14g sounds great for my application would like to know what hybrid options i have also i know t3/t4 would require an engine build or a fuel management system for your ass

Re:t25 turbo setup

Why would a T3/T4 require a rebuild? Either way you will need some sort of management. You could run a T3/T4 at 10 psi with stock internals and an AFC easy.

Re:t25 turbo setup

what about with hondata. i would have a lot of trouble getting that thing in next to the radiator. what ever though i could run a lower psi 6-7 and produce more power couldn't i
