Default t25 turbo?

I just got this turbo from someone and I was wondering what model it is.
I know it's a Garret and that it came from a early '90s eclipse and am pretty sure it's a t25 just wondering what trim t25 it is.

Get'em!!! Lol. WOOOO!

Yes, it is a Garrett T-25 from a Mitsubishi Eclipse/Eagle Talon.

No, it is NOT early 90's. It is a from a second gen DSM. 1995 - 1999.

They are a decent turbo for running 5 - 12 pounds of boost. The internal gate is susceptible to boost creep below 7 pounds however, word to the wise. When they fail, they usually tear up the compressor wheel if you are trying to run 14 to 15 pounds on them.

I have never cared what trim they are, but you could figure all that out. I have always upgraded and hoped a local honda abuser would offer me money for them.

No it is ------- not. I'm stopping the ------ of misinformation right now.

It's a Garrett T-25 from a second generation eclipse or talon. Does not matter if it was a 5 speed or automatic, they all used the same turbo from 95-99.

A 1G DSM used a Mitsubishi 14B turbo on the 5-speed cars and the auto's used a Mitsubishi 13G. NOT A GARRETT. Want to know the easy way to tell the difference? The 1G turbo's used a compressor cover that fires toward the hood and used a j-pipe to make the piping bend down. The 2G turbo's have the donkey dick compressor cover shown above in the pictures.

Thanks.
