t25 on a d16a6
 

I looked at the "what turbo to use with your car" post and it was late at night and the math made my head hurt .... anyway. How well suited would a d16a6 be for a t25 turbo from a 95 talon ? Would that be a bit small or not bad at all ? I can't see myself doing anything above 10psi (probably 7-8) and I'd settle rather happily for 200whp. Is this within my reach or should I go to a t3 ? Thanks for your help guys.

I'd just go for a T3, T25 is small, but fun, i have a T3 on my d16 and its awesome, puls hard and spools at about 3000-3500

Well, if your goal is 200hp then the T25 will do that.

if the t3 would spool around 3000-3500 (right where i'd like it) that means the t25 would spool around 2000-2500 ?

I just rebuilt the t25 myself and as it was my first rebuild (its not like its hard, I'd just hate to have it scatter into someone elses intake manifold) I'll probably end up sticking with it ... plus my budget is about nill ... lol I'll hopefully be going AFC hack with some DSM injectors and a chipped ecu ... we'll see once things get moving. I still technically don't OWN the car yet ... but its as good as mine ... well, assuming the kids parents will let him sell it. anyway ... its good for me to formulate different set ups, that way I can theorize about how things would work together and you can correct me, that way I learn :S

Also ... I've got a turbo from a 85 8.2 diesel that I plan on mating to something ... or maybe selling to someone 'cause I'd really like to see it mounted on something sick. Anyway, thanks for the info guys.
