t25 adapter plate??

Bought one off ebay but it is a bad design that allows exhaust leaks. Need one with the screws made in it. Who makes them or where can I get one?
Thanks

Re:t25 adapter plate??

By any chance, is it one of those adapter plates from Gary and Randy? Mind posting some pics? I have always wondered how they sealed the area around the cap bolts. About a month ago we got our first T-25/14b to HF/STD (countersunk style) adapter plate done..

left to right
T3 - HF | T25/14b - HF (New style) | T25/14b - HF (old style)

We havent yet tested the new style, but these will be like the plates I will be selling in the future..

Jeff

(dont ask, none are for sell, nor am I making anymore for awhile)

Please just post 1 topic on one section of the board.. thanks

Re:t25 adapter plate??

The one in the middle is no good. When you put the hf gasket on it goes over the cap bolt but not entirely and the gasket is not flat so there are major exhaust leaks. These leaks lead to a lot of lost pressure going into the turbo. The one I bought is just like that and to stop the leak I took the hf gasket out and installed an exhaust gasket that is oval shaped with a 2 inch circle cut in the middle. It covered the cap bolts fine and left the opening for the pressure. Sorry about the double post but I am redoing the kit and was hoping to find an adapter quick. I would say the best one for the t25 is the one to the right if you soldier (sorry if mispelled) it to the manifold first.
