t25 and 14b

I was wondering if someone could help me with this. I was told that a 14b and a T25 off of a s13 are pretty much the samething. Also I will be using this turbo on a z6 and want something not to big but not too small. I want something that will hold till redline. Thanx

the 14b on my car started to die out at 6.5, which should be close enough to reline for ya

go for the T3, what ever you do make sure the t25 isnt from a 2nd gen dsm, i have no experience with the nissan t25 but if it is a dsm the 14b is much better than the t25

Nothing's "wrong" with it, it's just smaller than many people prefer.

like he said there is notihing worng with them, its just that in a z6 boost drops way be4 redline and you are going to wish you went bigger trust me it took my homeboy three ------- turbos to get it right and thats a waste of time and money search and you will know what i am taling about

I don't plan on boosting much (~7psi) I'm on stock internals and wanna run safely with them for a long time. If I ever decide I can afford to upgrade my engine, then i'll redo my whole kit. The setup I'm planning is geared toward moderate power increase (below 200hp on a d16y8) that's reliable. On that note, i'm gonna be using an FMU till i go above 7psi ;D :S

btw, sorry for hijacking the thread... didn't mean to. :-\
