t2 hybrid?

I have never used or messed with such a small turbo, but I was wondering. Is the chra of a t2/t25 turbo compatible with a t3? Basicly, can you make something along the lines of a t3/t4 but the exhause having a even smaller foot print?

I have no use for something of this nature.I just have never even messed with a t2. If I hade one I would try it just for fun.

Would one even need say, a t25/t4?

Re: t2 hybrid?

pointless, the turbine side would never flow enough air to even give the compressor a chance to make power.

Re: t2 hybrid?

Yes I have adaptor rings that snap onto t25 CHRA's just like a compressor cover but it'S just a ring extending the backplate to T3 size, and then you can use most any T3 compressor HSG on it....But not a T3 compressor wheel because you need it bored for a t25 shaft, not a T3. So you would put a gt28R wheel in it.

it is of no use to me. I was just curious since I have never messed with a t2 turbine or chra.

Thanks thow

Re: t2 hybrid?

IIRC, isn't a T28 a hybrid between a T25 turbine/CHRA and a T3 compressor?

Re: t2 hybrid?

they use a t3 turbine as well... or at least i was told and its noticably bigger if its not a t3, still no more power on my app.
