I am looking for a turbo good for about 500/600 hp. Any one think a T04 with Compressor A/R of .60, Turbine A/R of 1.00 can do the job? Also, do you think this will be to laggy on a six cly engine? Also if you have any suggestions please post them as well.

thats a huge turbo, i was talking to a guy with a turbo v8 that had a .90hot side and he said it spooled shitty

i have a t04 on my 350 an it has a .70 exhaust side an it spools about 2600 an full boost i say hits about 4000 or so im busy driving it to look at the boost gauge so i dont know from there.A 6cyl would have to turn 8k to spool it with that ar. Also it would be laggy on a sb engine even a lil slow on a big cube engine.the one that i have found that spool good with the small blocks is the .68 ar t3.
So i guess a t3/t4 with like a .63/.70 would work well
Love to try out a ball bearing turbo just to see what the difference it would make.Thats just my 2cents worth

This will be run on a 2jzGE motor, I'd love to buy a huge turbo like a T04R but I will never spend 2000 dollars on a turbocharger. Most guys opt for the t66/t72 and hit full boost at about 4500 rpm, still think it wont spool fast enough? (no sarcasm intended). I dont care if boost does not kick in until 4500 rpm

Do a ball bearing T72. Spools fairly quick and I think you can even get them with ceramic fins which rediculously quicker then conventional fins.

we put a 1.32 turbine on a Taurus with a .70 compressor and it spools fast as ----.
