thats a little big on the exhuast AR for a 1.5 a .64 would be better suited for a 1.8 or high revving 1.6

Re: T-25, 62 trim 53.8mm 0.64 A/R turbine ??? wat does this mean

Whomever told you those numbers doesn't understand how TRIM and A/R are calculated, they're two different things. Trim is the outer diameter^2/inner diameter^2*100. A/R (area/ratio) is how the exhaust housing and compressor housing are defined as a size in reference to the turbine wheel or compressor wheel that is inside.

Technically it is defined as the inlet (or, for compressor housings, the discharge) cross-sectional area divided by the radius from the turbo centerline to the centroid of that area.

That being said, look on your compressor housing and see if it says .80 or .48

If it has a .80, it could be a 60 trim or 70 trim. The 60 trim would measure 1.66" minor and 2.14" major for the .80 housing and 1.57" minor and 2.02" major for the .48 A/R housing. Both of which would still be a 60 trim wheel. The 1.66/2.14 with the .80 A/R housing is capable of 27 lbs/min and the 1.57/2.02 with the .48 A/R housing is capable of 28 lbs/min. HOWEVER, you could have a 70 trim wheel in a .80 A/R housing as well, which would be the largest of the T25's. The 70 trim wheel measures 1.79" minor and 2.14" major and is capable of 32 lbs/min. All of the T25's have the same turbine which measures 1.64" minor and 2.09" major.

53.8mm=2.118" which none of the T25's have. Whomever told you that number either made it up, or sucks at measuring. My guess is both.

Excellant link although it can be overwhelming to noobs, hence the reason it was given in the condensed version and the pertinant info was the only info given.

i say read up as much as you can cause there is a lot of information that this forum has to offer! i haven't been asking question because the sites that forum has been providing has been answering them for me. know how the system first and do some calculations for your setup and then do it.
