swap exhaust housing. what do i need to know?

I bought a precision t3/t4 stage 3 turbo off ebay (NOT SSautocrome) w/ a used exhaust housing. It turns out the exhaust housing is .82 A/R. I think that's going to be a little laggy for a stock block b18b1.

Is it possible to get a .63 exhaust housing and swap it out?
How difficult is it to swap the exhaust housing?
Do I need a specific .63 exhaust housing for the stage 3 wheel or will any .63 exhaust housing work?
Where can I purchase a .63 exhaust housing?

I'm not all too familiar with taking turbos apart and putting it back together so any information will be really helpful.

Re: swap exhaust housing. what do i need to know?

You just need to get a 0.63 A/R stage 3 housing (has to be a T3 stage 3). Call Precision or Turbonetics, they will have them. I recommend the Presicion one though since they don't cast the wastegate hole in the housing.

It's straight fowrard when changing it. Just unbolt the 6 bolts that hold the two have circles clamps and then bolt up the other housing.

Any idea how much the exhaust housing will cost? I would call but they're probably closed right now.

Turbonetics list price is 218, but it will be lower than that.

You could try any other turbo supplier as well. Just do some searching.
