what springs do you use, I had a set of deltas on stock springs and ended up bending a valve, it only lasted a day with the 8,000 limmiter :'(

Both have Crower valvetrain, but if I were to buy valvetrain with money from my pocket I'd run the Supertech stuff.

Only Supertech stuff I've looked into is B-VTEC, and as of last year they had three spring rates on offer. Apples to oranges here, but if LS is offered in the same assortments as B-VTEC, go with the middle of the road 85 lb/in springs. You need stiffer than what an NA car would run (if you feel the need to upgrade valvetrain) but the super stiff stuff just destroys things.

I have supertech springs in my gsr head. I have only had the for 3000 miles but sofar so good.
