Supertech??

Sup yall, well as some know i hate ebay...too many people trying to rip you off. but i found some valve springs on ebay that have also been mentioned on honda-tech (not much better than ebay) and a couple other forums i'm on. They're called supertech. i was wondering if anyone has used/heard anything about these springs. I know the price is very low for valve springs and retainers, but from what i've heard from a hanfull (a very small handfull) of people they stand up okay....just wondering if anyone on here has any experiences? Here's the link.

I noticed that Neogreendelsol16 (solsociety) used their valve guides on his 400+ HP D series motor so they must stand up decent right? anyways i was wondering if anyone has used their springs before though? Please do not flame i do know about building motors. Built a high compression LS/vtec from nothing (one of the guys on solsociety.com can vouch for that) but i'm also into giving less known companies a shot....(other than SSautocrap)...so, what's the word? Good? Bad? Why?

Thanks for the help!

If there ture super tech then they are good stuff. A lot of people on d-series.org use them, not to many people on this from have them.

Supertech makes good ----.

None of the D-series I'd built need more than a stock spring, though.

hehehe.......

Stock springs don't last with .425" lift, wait for the .481" monster :)

I've only heard good things about them as well. I was going to use some in my DSM, but ended up using Crowers because I got a deal on them. But the super techs are supposed to be pretty decent.

I am using crower springs and retainers, with ferrea valves, and skunk 2 cams, great so far while pushing 9600rpms in 5th.
I also used KMS stuff before also.

supertech look like they are here to stay. I like how the coat their valves.

Good luck putting those dual springs on.......

NOT FUN!!!!!!!

Just as you compress the first spring, almost able to get the keepers on, you hit the second spring!

I have LS heads with Crower 404s, and the profile Crower stole for their revision of the 402T. If I had to buy new I'd go with Delta regrinds.
