supercharger on a 240? wha? how about a turbocharged sr20det motor.A well built turbo kit is gonna be better then a supercharger..superchargers blow some hot air into your motor and are pretty hard to intercool. a small turbo will spool up just as fast as a supercharger in some cases. plus superchargers cost a lot of money and you can't get one junkyard style.only thing i would ever supercharge would be a old V8 with a carb.oh yeah.. you don't have the cool turbo noises ethier.

roots type blowers don't blow that hot of air.
and you can easily intercool a centriugal supercharger.

roots type blows make cool whining sounds at idle.
and centrigual superchargers whine like turbochargers.

turbos and superchargers both sound cool

It's been shown that turbos are generally more efficient. I think I read that in Maximum Boost or something...

I always liked turbos when you don't have alot of room to go with as far with superhargers i think they are bad *** on old style hot rods. Turbos are usually cheaper and easier to find in a junkyard and still be in good condition.

A turbocharged car just has so much more room for ease of improvement... and I like them better as far as my personal experience goes.

for more room of ease improvement, i belive that is true, supercahrgers are limited on what they can produce, for instance an MR2 Supercharged, most of them have about the same horsepower with pulley upgrades and fuel managemnt etc. but when it goes to the mR2 - turbo, many of those owners have different horsepower some more than others, unlike me2 supercharger mostly all the same.

i wouldn't do a supercharge, even thought they got some UMP down low, i wouldn't trade one for a turbocharged car, because turbo charge for me, is something i can grow with, the more power i want, i more power i get.
