Super Coupe M90
 

After speaking with Endyn quite a bit, I've been looking for prices on some used M62's abd M90's and I came across this:

See how is can be mounted anywhere, due to the outlet panel thingy? Could the thing fit where he AC compressor goes, or perhaps between the header and the radiator.

possably, but honda engines turn backwards of supercoupe engines, so you may have to do a little work in that respect (possably flip the input cover?).

One of my friends is giving me one for free, so i might try to put it on my 240 :D

Any others have thoughts on using the outlet cover to pump the air through a fmic?

can't use the Ford M90 to mount where the AC was, the snout is too long.........

You can spin Eaton's backwards, but the delta temps rise faster due to being 10% less efficent.........

Yeah yeah I was just looking on Ebay and I found a short snout with a rectangular intake port. Apparently they are better anyway.

Now there is an obvious problem, the 7 groove pulley. I'd need to either change all the AC pulleys to 7 groove, or try to run the SC with only a 4 groove belt. I'm not sure if there are companies that make super strong kevlar belts or something, but that could be a possible solution.

a M62 Benz blower isn't enough for a GSR.......

Yeah, this was going on a Z6 though. I'm not shooting for 480 or whatever Larry gets out of his, but 300 from an SC with a near stock redline sure would be super. O0

I'd also need to fabricate my own tensioner or modify a tbelt one or something. I dunno these are just ideas that won't be attempted soon, since school is expensive and I am very lazy.

You know, I really didn't think of that. I just went out to see if an M90 could fit dimensionally, and I was pressing on the AC belt a little bit when I was counting grooves and it seemed loose. I figured it was just a belt and the compressor was bolted into place which tightened it up. Thanks though, I could use that tensioner.

The thing is, this would be very doable for me at this point. The only thing that is keeping me from putting my built low comp Z6 together is enough money to get belts and gaskets and all the trimmings that I want to have brand new and fresh for the fresh motor. I could sell the 14b and manifold and stuff and whatever else I wouldn't need and I may be able to do it. Right now as it sits the motor will be about 8.6:1 compression with a 14b maxed out. If I were to do this or any supercharger project it would be high comp, like 11:1. Don't mind me, just thinking out loud.
