Suck through system for bike?

Im looking to put a system on a bike. Its a drag bike only, 500cc banshee 2 stroke. Im looking at using suck through system to ease tunning on the carb. I will use one s&s carb, through the turbo and into the engine. I knows its more old school but I do not have enough room for intercoolers and extra pluming. Will the aerocharger work well for this? Any issues doing it this way...I would not do it for the street but for a drag application only anyone have some good pro's and con's on the old school setup?
Thanks in advance!

you may have a problem doing this with a two stroke engine as the two stroke engine needs the large exhaust chambers to work efficiently. otherwise it may work and be one hell of a blast to ride. your going to need a very smal turbo and your going to have to jet the s&s carb to allow oil and fuel to go through the jet so this maybe very tricky to get the correct afr.

I think the snowmobile guys do it alot... they have a 2 into one pipe, real big pipe diameter, I dont think the oil in the carb will effect the tunning, once setup, as long as you use the same mix ratio all the time. What im concerned about is turbo life. The fuel running through thr turbo eating the bearings. I actually think the oil in the fuel will help it last longer than with just fuel going through it. alot of the turbo kawi guys dump fuel through it while using the nitrous...Not sure about all the fuel for the engine.
Im sure someone with experince will speak up and set me streight.

the oil in the carb will definitely effect tuning. a larger jet size is needed beause the oil mix also takes up fuel volume. the jet is not adding straight fuel but a mix so there is less fuel going through the jet because theres also oil going through the jet. tuning a 2 stroke is very difficult let a long tuning one with a turbo.
the fuel/oil mix will enter the turbo inlet and get compressed in the housing. there are no bearings in the compressor housing. the bearings are in the center housing. since you not going to have oil pressure supply from the engine you will need to add a oil pressure pump and an oil scavenge pumnp just for the turbo.

Im real good at tuning 2 strokes...I have a bunch. Aerocharger makes a self contained turbo for use with two strokes. Looks like it is very simple setup on the draw through. Ive done some reserch, looks like the way to go for my application. Still need to talk with more folks about this before I ever move forward. If anyone else has done it, speak up :)

naturally aspirated tuning and boosted tuning are two different things. should be a fun build. post pics when you start. good luck.

Well, looks like im doing old school draw through to be diffrent. T25 turbo with carbon seals. I am going to make a bypass pipe that will bypass the turbo with a reed valve at the engine. This will allow the engine to suck its fuel direct through the carb, so starting will be perfect, and slow speed will not be an issue. The reed will close once the boost starts to build... I love the concept! Exhaust will be a 2-1 dynoport chamber feeding the trubo. Now, Ill have to look into a plennum. Im not sure I really need one with this setup. Alot of the blow though kits use them I guess to store up air so the engine has a chunk of air to pull from when the throttle is opened. Also to give a smooth refrence for boost prssure to the carb vents etc? Anyone want to elaborate on the plennum idea?
Thanks!
