Default subaru turbo?

anyone know what the name is of the 2002 wrx turbo? my friend has an 02 wrx and he got a hks gt turbo upgrade and i might want to use his old turbo for my custom kit i want to build. anyone know if this is compareable to a t25? will it work for like 8 psi, i will be getting zdyne gold secu for management. Or should i just get a t25 dsm turbo and have it rebuilt?

From what i heard its a very good turbo for a d series. Its small and spools quick. I'm using this turbo on my d16z6 probably at 6-8 psi.

I use one at 10-13psi on my low compression 1.6L SOHC...
I have stock exhuast with a 2 1/4'' DP that makes a 90 degree turn off the exhuast flange and I get 5psi by 2200rpms and XXpsi by 3000rpms and it doesn't fall off uptop ( as far as I can tell, even though I'm sure it would on a dyno ).

I highly recommend you rebuild your T-25 and trade me the TD04L-13T for the T-25 I have that needs a rebuild !! hehe..

I have a .60/.63 T3 that I was going to slap on after the WRX turbo, but the "zero lag" thing has me "hooked", so I'm selling it for $195shipped..
