there should be a nipple or something right off the compressor side of the turbo.

Also, to lower the boost you have to play around w/ the wastegate's arm.

Here's what you do, cut the wastegate arm.
Then cut off 1/2" from ONE of the ends you just cut. Don't cut both ends.
Then go to home depot plumbing section. You're going to find a metal tubed box with long thin pieces of metals and thin long bars, next to that box you should see a couplng
that looks like a tubed nut with a threaded inside. Bring your wastegate arm for comparison. Get the threaded fitting that is only slightly bigger that your wastegate arm cause you'll then need to put threads on the wastegate
arm so you can attach the fitting on both of the cut ends of the wastegate. Now you have an adjustable wastegate which you can only adjust to bring down the boost. Make the wg arm shorter by tightening the fitting therefore shortening the arm.
If that doesn't work, then you just spent a good 2 hours on something completely worthless.lol You're wastegate could be messed up if that doesn't work. This info is in the FAQ under "lowering boost" w/pics.

i have the hose from the wastegate going to the same vacum as the fpr. maybe your wastegate is mess up. my first wastegate was mess up would only boost 1psi,so i just put some washers on it to raised the boost, until i bough a new one which set it right to a perfect .56 which is excactly 8psi.of course one day my wastegate vacum fell and motor overboosted to 15 psi(rods went on a early retirement)now
it has about 4 tied straps on each end, btw dont even run the motor at 15 psi it is extremly dangerous that is way too much boost for a stock motor.
