Stupid Question about D-Series Intake
I'm new to turbo set ups in general but plan on building my A6 or Y8 for an HMT set up. I looked at all the lines and even mapped out a few pictures, but I'm curious as to how to get air into the system. The intercooler just cools the charge but where does the air originally come from? If the turbo is mounted behind the FMIC how do I get air?

Re:Stupid Question about D-Series Intake
through the turbo ::)...im not sure what exactly is puzzling you...the turbo doesnt need to be in front of the car to get air

Re:Stupid Question about D-Series Intake
i think he is asking where is the air coming from..(am i right?). there is an intake side of the turbo that sucks in outside air, it's not like you are recycleing your exhaust gases or anything

Re:Stupid Question about D-Series Intake
Connect an intake to the side of the turbo instead of the throttle body where you would normally connect it.
