Stupid Oil Line Question

I know this is probably a stupoid question, but i'll ask anyways...rather be embarassed than wrong

How do you know which hole for oil on the turbo is feed and which is drain?

The drain will usually be bigger.

what kind of turbo? most drains have a larger hole than the feed does

t3/t4...i think i see which is which...the drain has a square shape right?
