Forced Induction Custom FI Setup Questions

Default stupid.....

well bought a j-pipe for my 14b but when i bought i didnt think i would have clearance issues. but when i got it i bolted it on the turbo and was just gonna put the manifold up to the turbo to check it out (havent gotten my adapter plate in yet) and found that my hf mani is too wide for how tall the j-pipe is.... :1

GAY....

but ill work something out.

rotate the compressor housing.

well i thought about that but theres only the 2 holes for the bolts to the actuator. so i dont think i can.


but, i just now took my o2 housing off and i noticed that my wastegate flap is like stuck half way open.....

input anyone? time for a new wastegate??

you can rotate it and redrill a new hole in the actuator bracket. one bolt will be fine. If you want you can add an extension piece of metal.

but, i just now took my o2 housing off and i noticed that my wastegate flap is like stuck half way open.....
make sure the actuator works. get some air to it and make sure it moves out.
if so, add washers to the actuator to pull the flapper closed.

Same thing happened to me. Where the wastegate bolts the the housing, put spacers there. (washers). Most of the time if you play with it then you could fix it..

i took off the wastegate and started jerking it cuz i know that wastegate hasnt moved in years. it kinda fixed itself, but i dont wanna chance in while its on the car. i was gonna start to make brackets for when i clock it and ----, but my friend has a small 16g he had rebuilt and it still has 0 miles. so im gonna buy that.
