i thought catchcans were supped to collect oil? mine has about 2 oz of clearish liquid in it after about 200 miles, it just looks like dirty fishtank water, kinda cloudy with a hint of yellow

but i think its working right because it doesnt seem like oil vapor is comming out of my valve cover filter like before i had a source of suction connected to the pcv

Yeah. Ever look on the inside of the oil cap? Sometimes theres a yellowish mushy crap in there if it hasn't been cleaned in a while. Same crap is going into the catchcan.

 

ya but theres no actual oil that i can see, so is it normal ?

I still dont see why you guys use catch cans, I vent both my breathers to the atmosphere.

 

its workin right, when i go wheelin with my K-5 i get milky white stuff in my oil, cause i dont have catch cans or anything like that, its just supposed to catch ---- from recurulating

 

same ---- in my catchcan, so im gonna assume its working

 

lets install a ricer catch can and not understand how it works or what its doing..
